In the first three cases they are monofocal lenses, while for the correction of presbyopia alone - (difficulty of the crystalline lens in focusing at a reading or working distance of 40, 50 and 60 cm) - or also associated with other visual deficits (myopia, hypermetropia, myopic or hypermetropic astigmatism), we speak of multifocal lenses, which allow one to see in focus at all distances, from the distance to the intermediate and near.

Contact lens fitting: after a careful anamnesis, measurement of the extent of the visual deficit that will give indications on which power and type of contact lens to choose, the client will be followed step by step in the management of the contact lens, from insertion into the eye to removal, from checking good visual performance to adaptation by the ocular surface. A tear quality and quantity measurement test will also be carried out.
